Non-Toxic Carpet Cleaner Dilution Instructions
Dilution Ratios:
To achieve optimal non-toxic carpet cleaner, consider the following dilution ratios:
- For regular concentrate, mix 50 parts water with 1 part Enviro-One Green Cleaner concentrate.
- For super concentrate, mix 100 parts water with 1 part Enviro-One Green Cleaner super concentrate.
Spot Cleaning:
To effectively clean stains on carpets and rugs, follow these steps:
- Mix a 50:1 solution by combining 50 ounces of water with 1 ounce of Enviro-One Multi-Use Green Cleaner concentrate in a container.
- Spray the diluted solution directly onto the stain, ensuring thorough coverage.
- Using a terry cloth, gently work the solution into the spot, allowing it to penetrate and break down the stain.
- Let the solution sit on the stain for approximately 60 seconds.
- Using a clean cloth, wipe the area to remove the stain and any residue.
- Rinse the treated area with plenty of water to ensure the complete removal of the cleaning solution.
- Finally, pat the carpet dry with a towel.
Note: For tougher stains, multiple applications may be required.
Carpet Cleaner Machines:
When using a carpet cleaning machine, follow these instructions:
- Fill the machine’s water reservoir with water.
- Add 2-4 ounces of Enviro-One Multi-Use Green Cleaner concentrate per gallon of water used in the machine. Adjust the amount based on the level of dirt and staining.
- Use the soap solution ONCE on the carpet, focusing on soiled areas.
- Rinse the carpet thoroughly with water, ensuring the removal of all cleaning solution.
- For tougher spots or stains, pre-treat them by spraying a stronger solution of Enviro-One Multi-Use Green Cleaner in advance.
- For light-colored carpets, a lighter dilution (50:1) may work best. For darker carpets, a stronger dilution (100:1) may be suitable. It is recommended to test a small area first to ensure compatibility.
